The MotorsportReg product team has spent the last few months developing a new look and feel for MotorsportReg. This new design is the foundation for many exciting new improvements coming this winter. Check out the sneak peek below. We hope you’re as excited as we are!

It’s been a busy summer here at MotorsportReg as we continue to work towards some big improvements later this year. In fact, did you see the sneak peek of the new on-site check-in prototype we’re testing? We’re pretty excited about it! We’ll be testing this prototype at a few key events throughout this year.

When I started writing this I was somewhere over Newfoundland, Canada returning from the Autosport show in central England. It is the European equivalent of the Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis with a more focused road racing theme befitting their heritage. The floor is covered with all kinds of club and pro-level cars and most of the Formula 1 grid is on display. It takes discipline to get work done with so much eye candy!

Many clubs and circuits also have booths to promote their respective programs and racing championships to attract drivers for the upcoming season. I met with organizers to talk about MotorsportReg and RaceHero and I kept hearing a particular word that underscored why we've invested so much effort leading up to this announcement today: family.

Manage your tribe

Everyone reading this blog can attest to how much work it takes to manage your family/tribe- both literally and figuratively. We can't solve all your problems, but with our new features, we're hoping to greatly improve how you "literally" manage your members.

Today we are officially launching our all-new membership, licensing and credentialing system. Designed specifically for the needs of motorsport groups who primarily exist to organize events, we have launched first-class support for everything an organization manages about its members and participants.

I promised last year to update you more regularly on the changes we're making to MotorsportReg. We typically deploy updates 3-6 times per week and as we've grown the team over the past year, the rate of those changes has increased so let's catch up!

As I was prepping our 6 tips to kickstart your season blog a few weeks back I asked our customer success heroes Ann and Katie for a list of the best new (or old) MotorsportReg features that organizers weren't using but should. Since they see tons of events from tons of different kinds of organizations, it didn't take long to come up with the list. So here it is- the features you should be using to take your event registration form to the next level.

We're hoping 2016 is your best season yet so we're giving you a few tips to prepare your organization for takeoff!

This year has been chock-full of new features and upgrades! Photo uploads, email attachments, and season registration. Custom vehicle fields, email blaster for multiple events, and enhancements to our REST API, just to name a few.

But the next upgrade we're releasing is the big Kahuna! We've been working on this for over a year now. With several months of successful live testing, we are finally ready to announce-

Volunteers are the unsung heroes of our events. They join us unpaid and at the crack of dawn all for the love of motorsports and this incredible community we're a part of. Let's give a hats off to these wonderful folks and start making their lives (and yours) a little easier with online registration. 

Many of our organizers have brought their volunteer programs online and joining us this year with several big volunteer events was Circuit of the Americas. They recently wrapped up their first event for the Lone Star LeMans with over 300 volunteers and are getting ready for this weekend's Formula 1 race.
