Over the last several months we've been working on a little project to get even more eyeballs looking at your events (and hopefully registering).  We have teamed up with a few key syndication partners to help spread the word about your events including regional newspapers, major search engine sites and major (non-motorsport) event sites.

Many people don't realize but we make changes to MSR all the time - as frequent as multiple times per day.  Each update adds or improves the service and fixes bugs.  Many of these changes are small in nature so when Jennifer asks me, "What did you do recently?", it can feel like there's nothing newsworthy to pass along.  Thankfully I have a number of significant changes which makes writing this update a lot easier!

Believe it or not, there are still some organizations out there that don't offer online registration for their events.  As a participant, we can't tell you how annoying this is.  It's a considerable barrier-to-entry for a lot of people.  And rule number one in increasing attendance at your events is to make it as easy as possible for people to get registered.

So for the non-believers out there still using paper forms, we've put together a list of the top 8 reasons why participants love online registration.

If you read our last blog, hopefully you understand how powerful slicing and dicing your email list is when promoting your events. Here's a quick recap:

Last week we announced our calendar overhaul now including full text search and event names, making it easier than ever to find events on our national calendar.  But if you're on our Premium plan, you can also embed your organization's events directly into your website with our Wordpress and Joomla plugins.

Our development team (Brian) has been hard at work (literally pulling all-nighters, powered by Red Bull) to give our event calendar (seen by 900,000 people last year) a much-needed overhaul.

One of the simplest ways to really delight your attendees and keep them coming back for more is to give them more seat time at your events.  Now you might be saying to yourself, "that's just not possible, our schedule is jam-packed?" 

But what if it was possible? 

This week we released a new report for BMW CCA clubs- Release of Waiver and Liability Form.  We worked directly with the BMW CCA National Office on this one and have their official approval.  You'll find it in the Reports section of the Admin beneath the Detailed Reports (One-Pagers) section.

The form includes:

• Pre-printed event name/ location and event date
• Official language approved by BMW CCA National Office
• Pre-printed attendee name in alphabetical order with space for their signature
• Easy-to-print PDF format- MUST PRINT IN COLOR

And in case you missed it last year, we have a Release and Waiver Liability Form specifically for our PCA regions as well. It's approved by the PCA National Office, includes their official language and all of the other features noted above.
