New Event Advertisement Design

A key roadmap theme for 2021 has been to redesign the main attendee experience for MotorsportReg. Starting with the event calendar, then moving to the registration form in the first quarter, and now an all-new event advertisement. 

Making changes to a system that so many have become familiar with can pose some challenges and create frustrations. With that in mind, our approach to this work is to test and experiment with each step. We launch changes with a very small percentage of traffic before ramping up to 50%. This allows us to ensure that our new designs perform better. Once we know that the new design performs better than the previous, we push the gas pedal and release to all attendees.

New Event Advertisement

We recently pushed the new event advertisement design to 100% of traffic. This was after a month long test where we confirmed that the new design delivers more attendees to your events, increasing the conversion rate of paid registrations.

What's next?

We'll be continuing this work throughout 2021 with a key focus on delivering more registrations to completion. This focus makes it consistently easier for your participants to register and fills your events.

This quarter we turn our attention to the attendee login and sign-up flow, with a goal of making it simpler for attendees to get registered by removing unnecessary steps in the process.
