New Form Builder Improvements

Posted by Chris Redrich on Apr 17, 2020 1:27:17 PM

A few weeks ago we launched an all-new form builder. We've received a lot of great feedback and today we have pushed live a number of improvements and fixes based on your feedback.

  • We've fixed a bug where the drag & drop was not working in some cases.
  • All edit panels now have a "Cancel" button to add an explicit action to close/cancel your changes.
  • If you delete or clone an item in the form layout, when the layout refreshes, it will refresh in the same place you were before. Previously it would reset you back to the top of the form layout.
  • You can now type a date into date fields as well as use the date picker.
  • You can now click through form items one by one to review visibility and validation rules without first having to close the panel.
  • The form layout can now be scrolled when you are editing visibility and validation rules.
  • We’ve expanded the width of the panels so that you can see more information in the text fields. This is particularly helpful when creating/editing text blocks.
  • We’ve added the collection type (Pick one/Pick many) to the form layout. So if you have a collection on the form, you’ll be able to tell which one it is.
  • We’ve fixed a bug with Safari where the preview panel was not fully visible.

Bulk Refunds

Posted by Chris Redrich on Mar 23, 2020 1:57:31 PM

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have introduced additional new features that help you communicate and process the tasks that are required when cancelling events.

  • You can now process refunds in bulk by navigating to the Refunds & Credits screen in your Event Settings. This screen now allows you to issue a Refund or Credit to all attendees.
  • Cancelling an event now flags/marks your event on the calendar as cancelled so you no longer need to modify the title of your event.
  • We've updated the API to include a new "cancelled" attribute and a filter (exclude_cancelled=true) that will filter out cancelled events from your API calls.
  • We are using a brand-new Google feature to indicate when your event has been cancelled to influence how it appears in search results.

If you haven't done so already, please consider taking our COVID-19 survey to help us understand how the outbreak is impacting your program. Stay healthy and safe!

This morning we pushed live a significant step forward in our batch list screens–you can now make updates to entries directly from the list. This introduces a loved feature from the classic version. But we didn’t just bring it forward, we made it even better.

You can now use your keyboard to move through the list and make updates to the attendee status, classes, groups, and vehicle numbers. Fewer clicks, faster updates, and less work.
