When sharing our shortened-URLs from msreg.com on Twitter and Facebook, image and text previews were not appearing leaving the viewer with a bland-looking link. We've fixed this so msreg.com shares look just like the full length MotorsportReg.com shares.

Fixes for Week of Aug 12

  • Account merges now handle profiles subscribed to the same mailing list - more merges will complete successfully
  • Refunds were ending on a blank white screen - fixed
  • Refunds - also corrected some language, improved performance and now displaying amount previously refunded for partial refunds
  • Email blaster was not showing list of email addresses after clicking send - fixed
  • Creating a discount with an invalid code would result in a meatball - now displays a proper error message
  • Comp/Free packages were not displaying the discount on the registration screen - fixed
  • Modal window close button is larger and now positioned next to the pop-up window

SCCA Weekend Memberships

Weekend Membership remittance has been improved when remitting back to SCCA National. Failures are now displayed at the top with more informative error messages, particularly when the SCCA API fails to respond. We also cleaned up a small formatting glitch and improved the help text.

Date of Birth & Validation Rules for Age

The date of birth field has been moved from the medical details to become part of the core profile and we have added form validation rules to require and check for age. We recommend against using the rules unless it's really important such as for licensing (which is what prompted the move). Why? Every additional field you request is a small speed bump to getting registered so use it judiciously.

Update: Searchies Edition

With the new profile search in the top navigation (hit the "/" on your keyboard to auto-focus the field), we have been monitoring the increased usage and preparing improvements. Beginning tonight, you can search on part of an email address (try "gmail") and results are returned in a more sensible order when there are many similar matches.

Updates: Tesla edition

  • Added Tesla to the vehicle make list (lucky!)
  • When editing a registration as an admin with the form, display a warning if you try to navigate away without saving
  • Improve how success/error messages are displayed in the Student-Instructor editor
  • Fix bug where a credit restricted to both a specific event and event type would initially display as though it would be applied twice but would leave behind a partial balance due (Thanks Anne @ CASC)
