The date of birth field has been moved from the medical details to become part of the core profile and we have added form validation rules to require and check for age. We recommend against using the rules unless it's really important such as for licensing (which is what prompted the move). Why? Every additional field you request is a small speed bump to getting registered so use it judiciously.

• Date of birth field now part of core profile data (all existing values were migrated)
• Form validation rules for valid DOB, minimum age and maximum age
• DOB and a calculated Age field are available in reports

We also slid in a new Nationality field which we'll be using for fun to add country flags on race entry lists.
