Required vehicle questions, email headers, "Continue"?

Posted by Brian Ghidinelli on Oct 26, 2017 9:23:46 PM

There's no theme to these updates beyond "making things better":

  • MAJOR: we are now enforcing required custom vehicle questions when registering. It was previously required when editing a vehicle, but now if an attendee is missing a valid answer, they will be forced to correct it before registering.
  • Attendees sometimes contact us unable to register because they don't see the Continue button below the fold. We now have an always visible button to shepherd them to your events.
  • Occasionally attendees create organizer accounts when looking for events so we made minor navigation and button language changes to direct them to the right place.
  • Improved email generation to support backslash and double-quotes in the from, to and reply-to names.
  • Minor performance improvement to querying for reserved numbers for a profile
And the following fixes:
  • Event accidentally configured to start and end more than a year apart will now appear it in your admin event list for editing.
  • Made email system more resilient to invalid email addresses so it will not cause a campaign to fail.
  • Fix form validation for date fields in Firefox

Something Powerful

Tell The Reader More

The headline and subheader tells us what you're offering, and the form header closes the deal. Over here you can explain why your offer is so great it's worth filling out a form for.

Remember:

  • Bullets are great
  • For spelling out benefits and
  • Turning visitors into leads.
