Happy new year! We previously added the ability for an organizer to override the amount to charge to help organizers charge initial deposits or split up large amounts into a payment plan. This was initially only supported for "Charge at the time of registration" events.

This has been extended to Deferred Payments. When viewing a registration, click "Credit Card" and choose to charge now and optionally override the amount.
