Check-In Updated, T&S Change Log + lots more

Posted by Brian Ghidinelli on Sep 18, 2017 11:56:19 PM

We've been a bit slow on announcing updates but we've made lots of changes over the past weeks:

  • Check-In improvements - Public Notes can be entered anytime and will display next to the Check-In flow as directions/notes for on-site registrars! Design now better handles mobile devices like tablets. (h/t Sharon Rollow + others)
  • Timing and Scoring Change Log is now available for events via the REST API  (h/t Jenny Paradis-Hagar)
  • Assignments report now support a "Not In" segments filter to exclude participants who have an entry in a selected segment(s)
  • "Add Attendee" search shows the profile status to help catch troublesome applicants, e.g. blacklisted (h/t Glenn Conser/Gina French)
  • Member Types can now be included as a comma-delimited list in all reports
  • Searching in the top navigation is now "debounced" meaning the results won't jump around as they catch up to your typing
  • We upgraded our database server to a newer, faster, prettier version. Ooooo... shiny!
  • If you configure an attendee list, we have long displayed the public assignment data to participants in their email receipt but we overlooked displaying it on screen. This should cut down on the "did I register right?" questions.
And the following fixes:
  • Viewing/editing assignments on phones and tablets will resize properly and not overlap with the membership/licensing column
  • When editing a registration using the form as an admin, you no longer have to re-check the waiver and terms checkboxes
  • Organizer dashboard shortcut link now appears to people who only administer a single organization. This appears in the attendee side at the very top right as a shortcut back to the organizer dashboard.
