We're excited to announce a major update to MotorsportReg and SpeedWaiver that will save you time and streamline your event experience: Annual Waivers.

What's New?

Starting today, events can now be configured to collect an Annual Waivers instead of event-specific waivers. This means participants can sign a waiver once per year and have it automatically apply to all events they attend within that organization—no more signing the same waiver over and over again.

For SCCA regions, the registration form and check-in automatically verify the SCCA Annual Waiver. If the member has a valid waiver, they'll no longer be prompted to sign a new event waiver when registering.

How It Works

When an attendee signs an Annual Waiver through MSR, the system automatically creates a credential on their profile with clear start and expiration dates. During registration and check-in, MSR recognizes the valid Annual Waiver and does not prompt the attendee to sign another waiver.

For organizers, Annual Waiver credentials appear alongside other credentials at check-in, making it easy to verify. A downloadable PDF of each signed waiver is stored for auditing purposes, ensuring you have the documentation you need.

Why We Built This

If you're a frequent participant, we know that signing a waiver over and over again is not your favorite part of the race weekend. Annual Waivers eliminate this tedious process. Sign once at the beginning of the year, and you're covered for every event that organization hosts—whether it's your local club's monthly autocross series or a season of track days.

For organizers, this means less time spent managing waivers and more time focused on running great events. It's a win-win for everyone.
